About Us

Mission Statement: To enrich the lives of the residents of the Illinois River Valley by fostering creativity, and providing art education and art experiences.

IRVAC was created in 2001. It has grown from a small group of artists and merchants who shared a common goal: to provide continuous support of the arts for the artists, schools, merchants, and residents of the Illinois River valley of southern Oregon. This non-profit, 501(c)3 organization has an active board of directors, membership, volunteers, and a generous and supportive community. IRVAC contributes to the employment of artists through its programs. It has been instrumental in bringing a variety of art experiences to the residents of the Illinois River Valley in southern Oregon. The organization contiunes to expand its Learning Through Arts and Second Friday Art Walk projects each year. Other projects are presently in the works to add to exisiting programs and expand our reach to more groups in the community. Membership is open to all.
